RULES OF PRIZE COMPETITION
"100% Volley fun contest"

 

The undersigned company Indesit Company UK Ltd (hereinafter the PROMOTER), registered address in Morley Way, Peterborough PE2 9JB, with the aim of promoting its own sponsorship activity in the world of volleyball, promoting awareness of the Products that it markets, and promoting traffic to the internet website www.indesitvolley.com which it owns, intends to announce the prize competition specified below.
PERIOD: from 15 December 2009 to 11 March 2010

PRIZES

  • One voucher valid for one trip for two people consisting of 3 days and 2 nights, to be taken either in the period 3 - 5 April 2010 (CLW) or in the period 10 - 12 April 2010 (CLM), to the European city hosting the final of the European Volleyball Championship (Women's or Men's), including: outward and return flights, accommodation in double room on bed and breakfast terms, in four star hotel; the voucher will include two tickets for admission to the game. This prize has a retail value of € 1,500.
  • a choice of one domestic electric appliance from the Indesit Prime Free Standing range to a retail value of € 500 excluding VAT
  • a choice of one domestic electric appliance from the Indesit Prime Free Standing range to a retail value of € 500 excluding VAT.

TOTAL VALUE OF PRIZES:
€ 2,500 excluding VAT.

Mode of operation
The Promoter intends to advertise a competition with the title "100% Volley fun contest" reserved for visitors to the internet web site www.indesitvolley.com.
Through this site the Promoter will invite contestants to use their imagination to make videos which demonstrate their love for volleyball, showing in what way the sport is intimately connected with their life.
It is specified that the Promoter is the official Sponsor of the CEV Indesit Champions League.
The videos must:
have a maximum duration of 30 seconds
have the following formats: .AVI, .MOV, .WMV, .FLV, .MPG

They may be in black and white or in colour.
Everyone who wishes to take part in the competition must connect to the site www.indesitvolley.com and go to the registration section, where they will have to enter their name and address and take note of and accept the rules for registration, including the statement on privacy. By accepting the above rules, participants give their consent for their video to be posted online on the site www.indesitvolley.com.

At the time of the registration referred to above, an automatic email is generated to the address indicated by the user. Users must confirm registration by clicking on a link in the email. If they do not confirm, they will not be able to take part in the competition.
All entrants will be fully informed of the above by the site itself.
Minimum system requirements for access to the pages dedicated to the competition "100% Volley fun contest" are as follows: internet access.

Once registration is complete, participants will be able to send in their videos by file transfer over the internet.
Besides, or instead of, submitting their own videos, they will also be able to view and/or vote on the other videos published in the section dedicated to the competition on the site.

Following are the terms of the competition:

  • participants can send an unlimited number of videos (different from each other), but will have the right to only one win in the event of success in the draw.
  • for the final prizegiving, videos must be received not later than 11 March 2010, the last effective date for participation in the competition.
  • Before being published and accessible to any user who wishes to view and/or vote on them, videos submitted will undergo prior filtration in order to avoid the publication of videos with content considered offensive, blasphemous, violent and/or obscene, or containing incitements to hatred or racial and/or religious discrimination, or not pertaining to what is required by these rules.
  • videos plainly copied from others will be eliminated.

In all cases, this selection will be subject to the sole discretion of the Promoter on the basis of the above requirements.
On 15 March 2010, the Promoter will deliver to the company Promotion Plus Uno Srl a file containing the details of everyone whose videos have been published in accordance with the procedures described above. The draw for the winning videos and the corresponding names will then take place.
Two reserve names will also be drawn for the winner of the first prize, as well as two reserve names for the winner of the second prize and two reserve names for the winner of the third prize.
The aforementioned draw will be certified by the appropriate statutory declaration.

NB: Winners will be contacted by email. If the details provided at the registration stage do NOT coincide with those on the identity document, the win will be annulled. Full notification will be given to participants. In the case of minors, participation and collection of the prize will be subject to the consent of the person exercising parental authority.

Specific terms relating to these rules:
in conducting the competition the Promoter will adhere strictly to the terms of the Rules;
videos received will be put online on the site. Besides this, Indesit company may publish all or some of the videos on the YouTube channel of Indesit Company, which is accessible to anyone, and the videos receiving the most votes will also be projected on the maxi-screen during the two finals (men's and women's) at the stadium where they are being played.
By accepting these rules the contestant declares that he or she is the sole author of the video, explicitly authorises the publication of his or her videos on the above-mentioned channels, and acknowledges that he or she does not have the right to any payment for this publication.
 Work sent in will not be returned.
In the event that the registration form is incomplete and/or that the details entered are plainly false, the user shall not be able to take part in the competition;
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event of any problem regarding the connection between the user and the site;
In the event that the connection undergoes accidental interruption while the registration form is being completed or sent, the contestant may reconnect to the site and repeat the operations of completing and sending the registration form;
Nicknames and/or documents/videos will be excluded if their content is considered offensive, blasphemous or obscene;
Participation in the competition is subject to registration in the appropriate section of the site www.indesitvolley.com. Costs relating to connection to the internet shall be borne exclusively by the contestant.

Statement on the treatment of personal data
Personal data provided by participants will be handled for the purposes of the conduct of the competition and within the limits of any use and/or publication of the videos which the Promoter reserves the right to carry out on the terms specified above, with processes, including automated processes, strictly necessary for these purposes. The data owner is the Promoter, Indesit Company UK Ltd, under the terms of the applicable legislation in its own country.

DECLARATIONS:
The organising Company declares that:
eligibility for the competition is limited to citizens resident in England;
in collecting personal data, it will comply with the legislation in force from time to time;
The rules governing the competition will be available and may be consulted at the promoting company's offices, and at the offices of Promotion Plus Uno s.r.l., Via Antonio Pacinotti no. 9, Milan, Italy and on the internet site www.indesitvolley.com ;
Prizes will be delivered to the winners not later than 180 days from the date of the draw.
the promoting company declares that in conducting the competition it will comply with the applicable legislation in its own country;
In the case of minors, participation and collection of any prize will be subject to the consent of the person exercising parental authority.

PUBLICITY
The event will be notified to interested parties through the site www.indesitvolley.com and other online and offline means of communication dedicated to the initiative.
